From design to assembly and inspection
— your one-stop solution.
TDI Electronics provides seamless, end-to-end solutions—from design and manufacturing to assembly and inspection—leveraging both in-house capabilities and a dedicated network. This one-stop approach enables a smooth transition from prototyping to mass production while optimizing cost and performance through VA/VE proposals. By delivering fully assembled units, we significantly reduce the workload associated with procurement, assembly, and verification—helping our customers lower labor requirements and enhance product quality.
From prototype production to mass production,
Stable supply for over 10 years.
In fields such as medical equipment and industrial machinery—where product lifecycles are long and production volumes are relatively low—it is essential to deliver the required quantities precisely when needed.By modularizing products and leveraging outsourced manufacturing, we minimize economic lot sizes, enabling flexible, short lead-time production for small-lot, high-mix requirements. We also provide fast and reliable support for repeat orders and design revisions over extended periods of 10 years or more.
Sagamihara and Vietnam
— Mutual Backup with Consistent Quality
Our Sagamihara and Vietnam facilities operate with standardized equipment and processes, continuously sharing manufacturing information and quality data. This integrated system enables seamless transition from design and prototyping in Japan to mass production overseas.
Both sites can provide mutual backup in the event of disruptions or demand fluctuations, minimizing delivery risks. We also propose optimal production locations by balancing cost and quality to best meet our customers’ needs.
Comprehensive Quality Assurance and Technical Proposal Capabilities
Under our ISO 9001-certified system, we apply QC process control charts to all processes and conduct comprehensive in-house evaluations, including visual inspection, electrical testing, and environmental testing.
In the design phase, our multidisciplinary team works closely with customers to select optimal designs, materials, and construction methods. By utilizing FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), we implement thorough risk mitigation measures from the earliest stages.Even after mass production begins, we continuously monitor quality data, provide feedback, and drive ongoing improvements to enhance product reliability.
These initiatives have enabled our products to be adopted in high-reliability fields such as automotive, medical devices, industrial equipment, and home appliances.

Film Insert Molding (FIM)
Paint-less molding enhances product quality while enabling customers to achieve their ideal designs. It also helps prevent common injection molding issues such as sink marks and weld lines. This technology is widely used in applications such as automotive interior panels and medical equipment covers, delivering excellent chemical resistance, scratch resistance, and a high-quality finish. In recent years, its applications have expanded to in-mold electronics (IME), integrating electronic circuits directly into molded components.
Printable Electronic Circuits Printed Electronics
Using conductive inks such as silver and carbon, as well as piezoelectric inks, we print high-precision circuits on film to produce a wide range of products, including membrane switches, pressure-sensitive sensors, touch switches, proximity sensors, non-contact sensors, liquid level sensors, metal sensors, heaters, and antennas for medical and industrial applications. Our solutions are highly regarded for being thin, lightweight, and waterproof—making them an effective replacement for conventional mechanical switches.
We are chosen for our ability to provide fast, end-to-end support, from circuit design and prototyping to mass production.
