Thin Film Pressure Sensor (Overview)
What is a Thin Film Pressure Sensor?
The thin film pressure sensor detects applied pressure. The electrical resistance changes depending on the pressure applied. The sensor can be attached continuously directly to the surface where measurement is required, allowing direct detection of contact pressure. It can also be integrated into membrane switches and customized according to customer requirements.

Key Features
1) Ultra‑thin design (approx. 200 μm thickness)
2) Capable of detecting loads up to approximately 2 kg   *Detailed specifications available upon consultation*
3) Printed manufacturing process allows flexible shapes
4) Circuit design support is available
Application Examples
Precise push‑force input for intuitive human interfaces Control of airflow or rotation speed based on grip force
Control of water flow by pressing force Control for electronic musical instruments and game controllers
CrossSection Structure
Because the sensor is thin and flexible, it can be integrated into narrow spaces or curved surfaces in various products.
